SMARTech Awards 2019: Our Highlights
A crowded hall in the Hayatt Design Hotel Andaz, Munich. Dress code: Cocktail. Live music and us - nominated in the category "Best SMARTech Supplier" at the SMARTech Award presented by the AdTech service provider Criteo. It was a thoroughly successful event and not only because we were able to take the prize home with us for our technology, AX Semantics.

Alexander Gösswein, Regional Managing Director at Criteo and initiator of the SMARTech Awards, explains the decision: "AX Semantics is able to automatically create texts in different languages from structured data such as product features. The technology changes the way people communicate in writing through its ability to individualize texts on a massive scale".
We are very happy about this award.

What else inspired us
André Morys wins in the category "Most innovative technical contribution"
In the category "Most innovative technical contribution powered by 121Watt" André Morys won with his blog post: „In 5 Schritten von der Persona zu ansprechenden Produkttexten.“ He describes in this article why it is important to stand out with the product presentation, because otherwise the purchase decision is made on the basis of hard facts such as delivery time and price.
We are pleased that he will also be part of the AXCD – Automated Text & Content Day in September! He will tell us more about how to use Limbic Types and why it makes sense to use them for personalization. With optimizations of the product presentation, a two-digit uplift is almost guaranteed.
Head of Fischer Appelt is winner of the "Woman in SMARTech" award
Awesome women were nominated in the category "Woman in SMARTech": Lisa Gradow, at the age of 23 already multiple founder and Fränzi Kühne, at 35 the youngest supervisory board member in a DAX company. Franziska von Lewinski, head of Fischer Appelt, supports other women who grow into leadership roles through mentorship.
A highlight: the Live Startup Pitches for the most innovative SMARTech Start up
Wow, and what shall we say - a real highlight were the startup pitches. Out of ten startups, three were able to pitch their startups in two minutes in the evening and were directly voted "Most Innovative SMARTech Startup" by the audience.
All three presented themselves really impressive. Whether the best product idea won in the end or the best show, we leave it open. In any case, it was the startup that won: Factor Eleven, who pitched against Civey and Vuframe.
Most Innovative Performance Marketing Idea and Best BrandFormance Campaign
Fischer Appelt was delighted twice because they also won the prize in the category "Most Innovative Performance Marketing Idea". IP Deutschland won the "Best BrandFormance Campaign" with the Rügenwalder Mühle.
